Scrapist AI turns social text and images into structured results, and edits images from a prompt, through five independent HTTPS endpoints.

AI Name

Generate one token name and ticker from a social event.

Past Coins

Search a name or ticker using one or both supported providers.

Crops

Find useful image regions and receive source-pixel crop rectangles.

OCR

Extract combined text, recognized lines, confidence, and line geometry.

Image Edit

Edit up to three images with a text prompt and receive one JPEG.
Each operation runs only the requested workload. AI Name accepts social event context; Past Coins accepts one query and a provider array; Crops and OCR accept only an image URL array and optional correlation ID; Image Edit accepts a prompt and up to three images. Scrapist does not translate generated names.

Get your API key

Your API key, requests-per-minute limit, and Image Edit limit are assigned to your account. View them in the Scrapist dashboard.
Keep the key in a server environment. Never embed it in browser JavaScript, commit it, or log it. If it is exposed, contact Discord support.

Base URL and authentication

Send your key as a bearer token:
You may use X-Api-Key: <SCRAPIST_API_KEY> instead.

Make your first request

Call AI Name from cURL or TypeScript, then explore all five routes in the interactive API reference.

Independent limits

AI Name, Past Coins, Crops, and OCR each have their own per-user RPM bucket. Image Edit has its own per-minute limit, separate from your RPM limit. Every current request costs one unit in its operation’s bucket. There is no shared cross-operation cooldown. See Errors and limits for retry guidance.
